Our Approach
Satellite orbits several times a day over dams, gathering data on pH, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen levels, and water levels. The satellite’s technology collects accurate and up-to-date data, for effective and smart water management processes.
The Dam Monitoring Dashboard is an essential tool for supervising and crisis trigger alerts
combining an advanced IoT technology and a user-friendly dashboard to monitor the dams’
ecosystem on-board, inform decision-makers and addresses specific water resources
challenges.
Our Architecture
Our Dashboard
Our dashboard’s architecture consists of several components to collect, process, and analyze
data. The process starts with data collection from sensors. This data is then forwarded via satellite
to a ground station using LoRa technology to be analyzed and stored.
As input to our Machine Learning algorithms, the data collected will be first processed to eliminate inaccuracies and duplicates. This step is important to ensure the relevance of the insights
and patterns extracted from the data using advanced analytical tools.
The processed data is made accessible via an API connected to a smart designed dashboard (cf.
below), allowing easy data access and results visualisation in a user friendly interface.
